EMBASSY OF HOPE FOUNDATION’S HALL OF FAME HONOREES

A native of Daytona Beach, FL, Danielle Garrett serves as the Regulatory Enforcement Coordinator at Brown & Brown, Inc., a leading insurance brokerage firm. Danielle is a founding member of Brown & Brown’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Task Force, dedicated to building a team that thrives on diversity of talent.

Danielle is a champion of her community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Statuary Fund, the Daytona Beach Pop Warner Association, a member of Women United Volusia Board, a Big Brother Big Sister of Northeast Florida mentor (2023-present). She was selected a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2022 and the Young Civic Leader of the Year. In 2023, Danielle was selected an Influential Woman in Business and the Small Business Owner of the Year.

In addition, Danielle is the owner and operator of Dee Events, LLC offering luxury and unique balloon styling for special events.

Danielle is engaged to Dwayne A. Murray, II and the proud mother of Antonio, a senior scholar-athlete at Mainland High School (Daytona Beach, FL).

Charlene Greer is CEO and Chairwoman of Jeep Beach, Inc., the world’s largest Jeep exclusive organization. Charlene has worked in the non-profit sector for over 25 years and has raised over $4.3 million for 501(c)(3) organizations.

Charlene serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Halifax Health Foundation, Executive Board of Directors for DME Sports Foundation, Board Member for the Civic League of the Halifax Area, and a member of the Executive Committee for the Success Events, to name a few.

In 2020, Charlene was honored with the NASCAR Foundation’s Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Volusia/Flagler Chapter’s Corporate Philanthropist of the Year in 2018, the News-Journal Non-Profit of the Year-Woman in Business in 2022, as well as other honors in the non-profit and marketing fields.
